Apple AirPods Max

After months of anticipation, the Apple AirPods Max are finally here! Rosman Computers haven’t had a chance to test these headphones yet, but Apple claims they have “incredible high-fidelity audio, adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation and spatial audio,” which is very similar to the AirPods Pro.

These are available to buy today, December 10^th, but they will not ship until early January due to the extremely high demand for these items. The Apple AirPods Max are listed at $899 AUD, but it is a small price to pay for the exceptional quality and promising features from Apple.

The previous iterations of Apple’s audio products were less than ideal, but this has slowly improved over the years with the acquisition of Dr Dre’s Beats Audio Brand and Apple’s music streaming service ‘Apple Music.’

Apple arguably now has two of the industry-leading smart speakers: the HomePod and the HomePod Mini. These, coupled with their true wireless earbuds, AirPods and AirPods Pro, which are also arguably the most popular product in their category, have given Apple a strong foothold in the audio space.

Competition within the headphone market is fierce and we look forward to seeing how the AirPods Max perform in this class against industry veterans such as Bose, Sony and Sennheiser. There are a lot of alternatives for the everyday consumer, especially at the price point Apple is asking. However, with all the investments Apple have had in this project, Rosman Computers can see the Apple Airpods Max taking a large portion of the market due to their unique design, rumoured exceptional audio quality, and the responsiveness of buyers to get over-ear headphones from Apple.
